The father of homoeopathy: Samuel Hahnemann.

Homoeopathy is a system of medicine developed in the 19th century by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician whose aim was to permanently restore health to the sick through rapid and gentle means. He understood that when a person is ill, he or she displays a symptom picture through the state of the mind and of the body together. Treatment begins by giving the one remedy that is most suitable for this complete symptom picture, and thus most capable of stimulating the body's inherent ability to heal itself. This way, each individual person receives the best treatment for his or her unique needs, whether it's for a cold or flu, or the deepest chronic disease. Because treatment is based on the individual person's unique needs, the initial consultation can last from 2 to 4 hours, allowing the client all the time needed to tell his or her story, as well as for the practitioner to fully understand the client's concerns. By restoring health and harmony, homoeopathy works to help each person strive for his or her highest potential in life.

John Feissel attended a four-year homoeopathy school in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has been treating clients since 2000. If you have any questions about John or about homoeopathy, you can email him at johnfeissel@msn.com or call 510-452-0819.
